“Making activity irresistible” go Vibrant’s mission:  It sounds great in theory as a pie in the sky kind of idea, but what does it mean?  Well today there was a major announcement that shows how it can and will becomes a reality in a prominent place in Cincinnati.  Today, Procter & Gamble announced a gift of $1 million to the Cincinnati Parks Department for a P&G Vibrant Playscape experience “powered by go Vibrant”.  This was a vision and idea whose creation was led by go Vibrant and a significant and visible sign of bringing our mission to life.  The Vibrant Playscape will be located in 4.5 acres of the Riverfront just west of the Roebling Suspension Bridge in downtown Cincinnati with groundbreaking in 2013.

What is a Vibrant Playscape exactly?  It’s a park where movement causes things to happen based on the insight that when activity feels like play it is irresistible.  For example, when walked upon, stepping stones will produce sounds; water columns will rise when activated by visitors; while other elements will light up when engaged.  Some elements require more force or more people to make them work – encouraging cooperation.  Look on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/govibrant) for renderings of the experience.

go Vibrant is thrilled to help to bring this Park idea to life in the heart of our city!  There is no better way to help people rediscover the joy of activity than with a Park of this nature.  Check out the link below to a video from P&G that showcases the announcement, and look to this blog and posts on our Facebook page for updates on this truly one of a kind experience!
