go Vibrant exists to help create healthy habits and lifestyle for everyone – and that includes kids. The summer of 2020 may be a bit unusual.
A lot of camps, sporting events, and summer events are canceled or on hold. But that doesn’t mean that the kids of Cincinnati cannot find fun, engaging ways to go Vibrant!
We’re launching the Kids’ Challenge in 2020 as a way to encourage our youngest Cincinnati’s to be active and to help create events and memories that families can experience together during these unforeseen times.
About the Kid’s Million Step Challenge
go Vibrant’s Million Step Challenge is competition among neighborhoods in Cincinnati. Which neighborhood can log the most steps during in 2020? The challenge runs from June 15, 2020-October 11, 2020.
The Kid’s Challenge seeks to help youth across Cincinnati to become more active in a safe and healthy way. And, we are looking to foster an environment where families spend time together, logging steps, creating memories, and exploring our Cincinnati neighborhoods.
About the Kids’ Challenge
The Kids’ Challenge is intended for boys and girls age 1-17.
Parents should create and administer accounts for their children.
Kids’ steps can be logged on this site – note that the Kids’ Challenge is separate from the 1 Million Step Neighborhood Challenge. However, we encourage families to walk and log steps together. And, we’re looking to rollout some family-focused activities throughout the summer that will help parents and kids to earn bonus steps.
