CINCINNATI (June 24, 2019) – go Vibrant announced today its 2019 signature initiative and finale to its annual One Million Step Challenge, which will be held during BLINK weekend to raise funds for athletic programs at Cincinnati Public Schools.

Bounce, presented by P&G and in partnership with the Cincinnati Parks will involve an interactive lighted display located at P&G go Vibrantscape & Great Lawn at Smale Riverfront Park on October 11 and 12th with vibrant ‘bouncing’ program activities during the day.

Numbered balls will be sold for $5 for 1 or $25 for 6, online and inside the entrance/exit for Kroger stores in area. Random balls will be selected for prizes including gift cards. More information is available at

Proceeds from the sale of balls will help fund soccer, cross country, track and field at CPS elementary schools. The goal is to bring Soccer to 16 Cincinnati Public Elementary Schools and Cross Country/Track & Field to eight Cincinnati Public Elementary Schools that do not have those programs today. The purchase of 1 ball for $5 funds 1 week of athletics for 1 child!

The Bounce event will also be the conclusion of go Vibrant’s 4th Annual Million Step Challenge that has been going on since Memorial Day Weekend. The challenge has highlighted 19 neighborhoods – encouraging resident throughout the city to walk. Participants in each neighborhood are tracking their steps over the five-month period, logging them on Prizes will be awarded to the neighborhood with the most steps at the end of the challenge.
