If you have been using the excuse of sweltering summer days to avoid being active outside, then we have just the thing for you. This Friday, 8/3 is the Downtown Dash 5K and Block Party in the evening, so there is no reason to contend with the blazing hot sun. The party runs from 5 p.m.- midnight at St. Xavier Church on Sycamore Street downtown with the race starting at 7. (By the way, this leaves plenty of time for you to both run AND party).
